Over the past seven decades;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RL Jones has been blessed to serve and impact the communities in and around the South Texas area. Founded in 1952 by Roy Lee Jones, (pictured in the center of both photos), RL came from humble means; after serving in the Navy he returned to San Antonio and founded the corporation that has been in continuous operation since its origin. Founded on RL\u2019s core beliefs; honesty, integrity, loyalty, perseverance and meek humility are the ideals that inspired RL\u2019s character and drove his decision-making ability. Stories of his faith based awareness of helping so many of his peers when there was a need and refusing to take public recognition are still echoed throughout the industry today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting out, RL Jones LP was largely established from long hours of hard labor where Mr. RL was primarily a welder and natural gas pipe installer contracted to install City of San Antonio Public Service Utilities. Mr. David Jones, RL\u2019s son was promoted from field supervisor to estimator in 1974 shortly after graduating from Thomas Jefferson High school and slowly began expanding the company\u2019s reach to diversify itself within the City of San Antonio\u2019s Civil construction needs.

Over the course of time under the father son duo\u2019s guidance; RL Jones LP prospered and continued to grow gaining a more expansive clientele by providing additional services such as an array of wet utilities installation, street reconstruction, site grading, concrete structural and flatwork, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In the late 1990\u2019s, third generation son Josh Jones entered the family business as a field laborer. In 1999 he was promoted to street foreman and in 2004 he took a position as a project manager, by 2008 he was head of all field personnel and in 2013 was nominated to be president of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Josh & David are both very active in guiding the day to day operations of RL Jones and look forward to continue building from the foundation Mr. RL Jones set forth in serving our employees and community.
